Employment from Australia, where to start?

Hi all,

I have visited PNG on various occasions and love the people, climate and country. I have often thought about living there but never really taken any action... till now

If I would like to work in PNG, as a highly skilled IT professional, what would be the best place to start? looking for employment?

Are there websites or is it a matter of "word of mouth" advertising?

Don't want to bore you with my over 15 years of high level IT experience and project management so won't! I trust if your interested you will be able to contact me, pm me, can contact me, this would keep the forum clean.

Any ideas would be really appreciated, and maybe even rewarded with a beer if succesfull!!!

Hi Ronald saw your post. Might be late but better late than nothing. There are several IT companies in PNG, Daltron, Datec and DataNets were the major ones since I left.
Check the websites out but there are or the two daily newspapers. Word of mouth is usually an effective way too.
