The average houshold size (or number of persons per occupied private dwelling) varied across the Provi8nces from a low 4.1 occupancy rate in Eastern Highlands Province (EHP) to the highest rate of 6.1 in Western Province. Figure 4 shows that NCD, Gulf and NOrther Provinces recorded occupancy rates of 5.9 persons per dwelling.
